Tremezzo is a part of Tremezzina which is on the western side of Lake Como with views across the water to Bellagio.

The climate of Tremezzo is mild with floral gardens and olive trees. Because of this it has been a popular destination for visitors for many years including Queen Victoria, Giuseppe Verdi and other famous people.

Villas nearby include Villa Carlotta and Villa Balbianello.

It’s a few minutes’ ferry ride from Bellagio

The key site of Tremezzo is Villa Carlotta and a little further away, Villa Balbianello in Lenno.

The main Villa in Cernobbo is Villa d’Este which is now a hotel. There are however, a couple of others to see. Villa Pizza and Villa Bernasconi. The latter two are only open to pre-booked guided tours (website links below)

FERRY INFORMATION

From Tremezzo to Como and vice versa is about 37 minutes on a fast ferry.

From Tremezzo to Bellagio is from 6 minutes by fast ferry to 32 minutes on a slower one.

Tickets can be bought directly from the ferry service website, except for fast boat tickets which must be bought at the ground station.
