Lake Garda Ferries, Boats & Timetables
Ferries on Lake Garda
Lake Garda ferries are similar to normal public transport buses with frequent services to and from the major places to visit on the Lake.
Tickets can be purchased at the ferry ticket booth/office at the point of departure in most cases.
You can purchase a single, return or a single or multi-day ferry pass. Prices for these depend on where you are going. More information is available from ticket office.
Lake Garda Ferry Services
Ferry Travel on Lake Garda
Ferry services along Lake Como operate much the same as buses with regular transport for the most popular places.
The services are divided into the normal, or slower service, and the fast service ferries. For a fast ferry you will pay a supplement.
Buying ferry tickets can be done at the terminals, or stops or, if there is no ticket office, onboard the ferry. At busier times it is worth buying your ticket 30 minutes or more before the ferry’s arrival as they can get full.
