The mild climate of Limone has made it a very popular place for people looking for a place to relax, soak up the sun and enjoy the beauty of Lake Garda.
The town is famous for the production of lemons with which started around 1700 and you can visit ‘lemon houses’ here.

The resort of Limone has many bars, cafes and restaurants and is a popular place for lovers of outdoor activites (as well as those who simply wish to relax).

Hiking and guided walks are on offer, along with sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing and a 2.5km path for cycling.

There are a number of walks and hikes available in the Limone area.

Easy walks include on the shared cycle trail and others viewable on this Komoot page.

Windsurfing and Kitesurfing are available in Limone along with cycling, ebikes and mountain bikes. You can find hire/rental shops in the town.

FERRY INFORMATION

Limone is connected to the rest of Lake Garda by road and a ferry service.

The road can be quite slow, especially in high season, so using the ferry for your Lake Garda holiday is a great idea.

Ferries can take you to many parts of Lake Garda from Limone including Riva, Sirmione, Malcesine by fast or slow ferry and the service includes a car ferry from Limone to Malcesine for those people with vehicles.

Ferries to Riva take between 35 minutes to 50 minutes; Malcesine 11� to 25 minutes and Sirmione 1 hour 38 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the ferry and time.

There are a number of beaches in Limone including:

Tifu beach, Cola beach, Fonte Torrente, Se beach, Grostal and one for dogs, Bau Beach.

The beaches are pebble/gravel ones so bring appropriate footwear.
