Luino is a popular resort on Lake Maggiore with a long lakeside pathway for walking, relaxing or jogging.

The historic centre has a number of Renaissance, Baroque, and Art Nouveau facades along with shops selling local produce.

Luino is on the eastern banks of Lake Maggiore, almost opposite Cannero Riviera.

The town is in Lombardy and is close to the Swiss border.

The road network allows travel to Lake Lugano, about 15-20 minutes away by car.

FERRY INFORMATION

Luino is connected to the rest of Lake Maggiore by the lake ferry service. Canero Riviera, on the opposite side the lake is a 15 minute journey on the faster service. Cannobio is about 25 minutes away.

The Borromean islands and Stresa are approximately 2 hours by ferry.

Location was great, there was plenty to do on the hotel grounds. The staff were really accommodating, and their breakfast was great.

The staff were amazing and helpful. The restaurant was great and the breakfast too. The restaurant has a great view on the lake. Their garden is also nice for a nice walk and to chill.

We loved being at the lake. Garden with bar, lake access, jacuzzi and lake view restaurant was beautiful.

We loved the location! Close proximity to the train station and walking distance to ferries and restaurants. Breakfast options were very good and included a barista making fresh coffee to your liking.
