About Torbole

Torbole is an historic village on Lake Garda that has become the premiere spot on the lake for watersports.

Torbole’s little harbour has buildings of the Vecchia Dogana (15th century). It was a stopover for European travelers passing through on the Atesina road from Germany to Italy 15th century.

These days it is a paradise for watersports lovers thanks to its predictable winds. The area also offers hiking trails, climbing, canyoning, and mountain biking.

Torbole’s location on Lake Garda

Torbole is on the northern end of Lake Garda near Riva.

The town is connected by ferries to Limone and Riva and is connected via the road network around the Lake and is not far from the A22 autostrada (motorway/freeway).

FERRY INFORMATION

Torbole has ferry boat services across the lake, the most frequent ones being to Limone and Riva, others will be more infrequent. There are, however, tour boats available to various Lake Garda destinations.

Tickets can be bought directly from the ferry service website, except for fast boat tickets which must be bought at the ground station.
